The Beasts (part 1) - Revelation 13:1-4
There are two world rulers coming.
The Beast is the political leader.
The False Prophet is the religious leader.
We are seeing the formation of a One World Government and a One World Church.
The Beast is Antichrist (though Revelation does not call him this).
He sets himself up as God and Messiah.
He is the embodiment of evil.
The first Beast rises up out of humanity.
He will be born just like anyone else.
Though we cannot dismiss cloning.
The "sea" represents humanity (see Revelation 17:15, Isaiah 17:12, 57:20-21).
He will offer hope in political and religious disarray.
He is seen with Seven Heads (mountains - Revelation 17:9).
This was Rome to the Mediterranean world.
The E.C. was The Treaty of Rome originally.
The Then Horns are Ten Kings (see Revelation 17:12).
This is a confederation of ten kings or nations.
This is how the E.C. was founded.
The founding members are its authority.
Remember though, the Beast wears all the crowns.
They have pledged allegiance to him.
Next John describes him as having:-
a) The likeness of a leopard
b) The feet of a bear
c) The mouth of a lion
A combination of three world empires; Medo-Persia, Babylon, Greek.
He will have the traits of all three (ruthlessness).
His seat of authority is prepared by Satan.
He will be a dictator.
The Deadly Wound - what does it mean?
a) Revived Roman Empire?
b) Reincarnation of a previous world emperor?
c) An assassination attempt and resurrection?
Whatever it is, the world will glorify him as God.
He is very charismatic - he draws adoration.
They wont accept another Hitler will they?
He is the guiding star of all nations.
Who could refuse such a wonderful man?
Now he creates his central government in Europe.
By worshipping him the world worship Satan.
This is what multi-faith is all about!
They are all going to be following Satan.
They will get the government they deserve.
The Beasts (part 2) - Revelation 13:4-10
Ways in which the Antichrist will gain power:
a) Because mankind is already wicked.
There will be an increase of witchcraft.
Paul speaks of such a time as this (2 Timothy 3:1-5).
b) Through ability and appeal.
The world will love him.
He will be a charismatic figure.
He will be a genius.
He will be a great orator.
c) Through military and economic strength.
There will be peace at first.
This peace will be maintained by a military machine.
Like all dictators, he will hold the national purse.
d) Through Satan's authority.
This will be 3 1/2 years of Satan's dominion on earth.
e) Through atheism and humanism
He will reject everything about the true God.
He will seek to insult God by building headquarters in Jerusalem.
He will claim to be all religion's leader (Daniel 11:36).
f) Through religious persecution.
The world already hates Biblical Christianity.
They will love him for ridding the world of Christians.
He will persecute both Christians and Jews.
g) Through takeover of other nations.
He will seek to own the world.
He will use the threat of war to make nations submit.
All who submit can never be saved.
No going back once they've pledged their allegiance.
They will be eternally doomed.
Time for the church to listen to God.
The church has rejected Revelation long enough.
Personal choice will lead us to spiritual bondage.
Personal choice will doom our souls.
It is our choice either to obey or disobey.
Those who have real faith stand firm (Matthew 10:22).
The Beasts (part 3) - Revelation 13:11-18
This section contains information to the Second Beast.
The Antichrist needs this man.
He will come from the common people.
He will not be a politician but a religious leader.
He will be a lovable down-to-earth charismatic figure.
Behind his words of love is the power of Satan.
Behind the sheepskin is the heart of the Dragon.
He will appear to follow Christ, but will be devoted to Satan.
He will be the Antichrist's Religious Public Relations man.
He will be a pseudo-Christian, a False Prophet (Revelation 16:13; 19:20; 20:10).
It is he who will reveal the Antichrist as saviour of the world.
Note, Church and State must be united in the Antichrist's Empire.
The European Religion is Roman Catholicism.
A pope will be the second Beast.
He will work miracles to convert people.
The Two Witnesses will be active at this time (Revelation 11:3-13).
The false prophet counterfeits their power.
The devil always works according to deception.
The False Prophet will deceive people into accepting the Antichrist.
An "image" (holographic) will be commissioned.
This image will stand in the temple (Matthew 24:15).
It will speak (audio-visual).
It will pronounce the death sentence on those who don't worship.
This is done through a scanning device.
The "mark" is possibly a DNA based barcode.
Not a tattoo but an silicon chip implant.
Antichrist will control Europe's money.
This means a Centralised Bank.
Without the "mark" life will be impossible.
Who is the Antichrist?
This will not be revealed until these events unfold.
Will his number reveal his identity?
No, the False Prophet will.
The numerical value must be in Greek not English, Latin or Hebrew.
The Roman Pontiff will reveal his identity to believers.
Then go and add up the numerical value of his name.
It adds up to 666 doesn't it!
