Created in an instant.
No more pain, floods, sickness.
The new creation is eternal (Isaiah 65:17, 66:22).
New Jerusalem coming.
Not symbolic of the church.
It is the dwelling place of God on earth.
He is the only true God.
All the old will be forgotten ...
See Revelation 7:17, Isaiah 25:8, Isaiah 65:19.
No fossil records since it's a new creation.
He is the Creator from the beginning.
Those who believe can enjoy eternal life.
They must overcome (Philippians 2:15).
Those who compromise have only the Lake of Fire.
The New Jerusalem (part 1) - Revelation 21:9-27
John see the descending capital of the earth.
Not symbolic of the church.
The church inhabits the city (Revelation 3:12).
Its the people who make the city glorious.
But God makes this city glorious.
This is why no evil can enter it.
The city stands four-square.
Its light is brilliant crystal green.
Twelve gates made out of pearls.
Each inscribed with one of twelve tribes names.
An angel guards each gate.
Remain open forever.
Twelve foundation stones inscribed with name of twelve apostles.
Each stone is a precious gem (see footnote).
The city is 1,500 miles wide, long and high.
Made from pure, crystal clear gold.
The walls are 266 feet high jasper.
The roads are made from pure gold.
No temple - God is our temple (John 4:24).
No sun or moon - Jesus is the light (John 9:5).
He is the King (Isaiah 9:6-7).
We will reign as kings with Him (Revelation 5:10).
This is the place He promised to build you a mansion!

1st Stone: Jasper - a green rock-like crystal.
2nd Stone: Sapphire - a sky-blue stone with specks of gold.
3rd Stone: Chalcedony - luminous green like a peacocks tail.
4th Stone: Emerald - the greenest of all gemstones.
5th Stone: Sardonyx - this stone has various colours within it, white, red, and brown.
6th Stone: Sardius: a blood-red stone.
7th Stone: Chrysolite - a dazzling green stone.
8th Stone: Beryl - Sea-blue / green stone.
9th Stone: Topaz - a transparent greenish gold stone.
10th Stone: Chrysoprasus - an apple green stone.
11th Stone: Jacinth - a violet, bluish-purple stone.
12th Stone: Amethyst - a violet, bluish-purple stone, but more dazzling than the jacinth.
