I’m gonna trust in Jesus

I’m gonna trust in Jesus every day
I’m gonna trust in Jesus come what may
When temptation comes along to draw me away
I’m gonna stand firm, you’ll hear me say

I’m gonna praise Jesus every day
I’m gonna praise Jesus come what may
He redeemed me by His precious blood
Washed away my sin, made me right with God

    All temptation is common to man
    There is no need to fall
    For with the temptation there’s a way to escape
    If on His name we call
    He’ll never leave us or forsake
    But with us will abide
    So by His grace we’ll endure to the end
    And meet Him on the other side.

I’m gonna follow Jesus every day
I’m gonna follow Jesus come what may
Whatever He asks, I’m gonna do
For I believe His word is true
